WHAT IS IP STANDARDS?
IP is the acronym for Ingress Protection, meaning the Ingress Protection mark or the International (Internal) Protection mark. The IP rating is an important piece of information in determining the level of protection of a device. When talking about the dust and water resistance of a product, people often use terms such as "IP rating", "IP protection index" or "IP protection level", and they all mean equivalent meaning. Usually, the letter IP will be followed by two numbers, representing the level of protection of the device against external factors such as dust and water. This helps users feel more secure when using the device in conditions where these substances are encountered without worrying about the device being damaged.

MEANING OF THE CHARACTERS IN THE IP STANDARDS
The meaning of the IP number on the device will change depending on the two digits that follow the word IP. It can be understood that, with a higher IP rating, the device will have better protection against factors such as solid objects and liquids (eg dust and water).
