Outdoor sound systems typically consist of basic equipment such as high-power speakers, subwoofers, a mixing console, power amplifiers, wireless microphones, digital mixers, etc. Therefore, before choosing a system, you need to carefully consider and arrange the equipment to ensure compatibility in terms of power level, impedance, and aesthetics. In particular, the speakers and power amplifiers must have high power compatibility. This will minimize the risk of feedback, screeching, or harsh sounds that can be unpleasant for listeners.
3. Synchronization in the sound system

1. Speaker placement

If the space is very long, you should arrange additional speakers along its length to ensure adequate sound for listeners further away.
For large-scale events, a speaker system using a suspended frame is often employed. Modern line array speakers offer powerful performance, enhancing aesthetics and allowing sound to travel further. You can also place additional speakers in front of the stage to serve audience members standing closer.
3. Speaker placement height
Additionally, when positioning speakers, height is crucial in determining how the sound is directed towards the listener, resulting in better sound quality compared to speakers placed facing upwards. Generally, speakers should be positioned at a height of around 3 meters to ensure the sound is not harsh or unpleasant for the listener.
If you're mounting speakers under an awning, position them close to the wall, or better yet, in a corner. This will help protect the speakers from the elements, improve sound quality, volume, and bass response.
