“Princess Anio” – Special Art Opera

OPERA “LADY ANIO” – A HISTORICAL LOVE RELATIONSHIP SYMBOLIZING THE TOPE OF VIETNAM – JAPAN FRIENDSHIP

In 2023, the opera "Princess Anio" - a special art project celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations co-produced by the Executive Board of "Princess Anio" and the Vietnam Philharmonic Orchestra, created many deep impressions in the hearts of audiences in both countries when performing in both Vietnam and Japan.

"Princess Anio" is based on a true story in the history of Vietnam-Japan trade from around the early 17th century, revolving around the love affair between a Vietnamese princess and a Japanese businessman. Completing the 50-year milestone, looking forward to the future of 100 years of Vietnam-Japan friendship, the Executive Board of "Princess Anio" and the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra decided to renew the opera in the form of musical narrative drama.

WHERE DOES THE “LADY OF ANIO” SHOW TAKE PLACE?

Meeting the audience's expectations, the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra and the Executive Board of the opera project "Princess Anio" organized a special musical storytelling tour of the opera "Princess Anio", in Hanoi and the city. Ho Chi Minh, this July. As follows:

- In Hanoi: July 20, 2024 (Saturday) at the Youth Theater (11 Ngo Thi Nham, Pham Dinh Ho Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi)

- In Ho Chi Minh City: July 17, 2024 (Wednesday) at the Concert Hall of Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music (112 Nguyen Du, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City)
